2 x Giant Slalom

Date
Venue
Waterville Valley

After a 5 year hiatus, NEMS is back at Waterville for 2 GS races on Friday, Jan., 20th. Waterville has made some BIG improvements since the last time we were there, and they have plans to do even more! In addition to an updated Base Lodge, Waterville unveiled their new Tecumseh Express 6-Pack lift this year. This lift was specifically designed to handle Waterville notorious winter weather conditions while traveling at speeds of up to 1,000 feet / minute. That’s just over 11 mph in case you were wondering. Speaking of fast….

NEMS will be holding 2 full giant slalom races (4 runs) on the famous World Cup trail. Racers are encouraged to read the Race Info Sheet as well as download the Stack Team App. The day will be packed with racing so get ready.
