We will be combining forces with ASRA for this weekend to have an exciting kick off to the season. In addition to the Saturday and Sunday races, ASRA will be running a GS on Friday, which will be open to all, so you will have a chance for a warm up race before the first official Sise Cup event.

A great hill with everything; steeps, flats, rolls, drops, length, at a relaxed family mountain. The Middlebury GS hill has been reshaped on skiers right, so the whole width of the trail can be used on the top steep section. There are now many more possibilities for gate placements to fully use the varied terrain, and it's safer. Training info available at www.middskiclub.org. Please send separate check with each entry!! Online Registration available at www.middskiclub.org.  8:00am- 9:00.

This season’s Skier’s Edge Eastern Masters Championships will be hosted by one of the more popular sites on the Sise Cup tour, Okemo Mountain. Because of its long, undulating venues, impeccable grooming, free-flowing course-sets, and solid race organization, Okemo is tops on most masters’ favorite racing sites. Its central location is also a plus in drawing a large, competitive field.
This year’s schedule of events will be similar to last year, with SG training on Thursday, the Championship SG race on Friday morning, followed by a one-run slalom, which will be combined with the SG to form a super combined competition. The SG and super combined will count toward the overall Eastern Championships scoring, along with the slalom and GS. The slalom race will be held on Saturday (with separate A/B and C/D courses) and the GS will wrap-up the program on Sunday.
Awards parties at the nearby Okemo Golf Course clubhouse on Friday and Saturday afternoon will include the usual array of food, video, raffles, and prizes. And in a change from past years, the Eastern Championship races will be included in the yearlong scoring for the Sise Cup. USSA info
