Chargeback Fee

Registration for all New England Masters Ski Racing (NEMS) events (Races, Camps, Banquets, etc..) is conducted by the organization’s registration vendor, Masters Admin Ski Racing (ASR). All transactions are processed via Masters Admin Ski Racing and are charged via the credit card listed on a customer’s profile. 

Payment for NEMS events takes place following the conclusion of the event, however, certain purchases will take place immediately (e.g. Annual Membership, Camps, and Finals Banquets). 

When a payment is processed, customers will immediately receive an email from “Masters AdminSki Racing” with a description of the charge and a copy of an invoice. The invoice will also contain the customer's information, as well as the ASR and NEMS Racing logos. The invoice can also be found on the customer’s account on ASR. The customer may also receive an alert from their financial institution, similar to any other transaction processed via their credit card.

If a customer does not agree with a charge issued from NEMS, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify NEMS immediately at: [email protected]. Ideally within 48 hours of receiving the charge. The customer should explain the situation and why they believe the charge to be incorrect. NEMS will review all inquiries and work to resolve them as quickly as possible. 

Chargeback Fee Policy:

If a customer issues a chargeback against a NEMS charge without making a reasonable effort to contact NEMS to resolve the issue, as outlined above, the customer will be charged that amount in addition to the standard ASR Processing Fee. The Chargeback Fee is currently $30.00 and is set by the financial institutions. NEMS does not incur any revenue as a result of this transaction.
