The countdown to another exciting season of New England Masters ski racing is officially underway!
NEMS Racing is excited to announce the release of our Preliminary 2026–27 Race Season Schedule, featuring another winter of competitive racing, great venues, and opportunities for Masters racers of all abilities to get back on the mountain.
With races planned throughout the Northeast, the upcoming season promises a mix of familiar favorites, exciting competitions, and opportunities to reconnect with the New England Masters racing community.
A New Season of Racing Awaits
The 2026–27 season kicks off in December at Stowe Mountain Resort, with the 41st Annual Comets Camp taking place December 15–18, followed by two days of racing on December 19–20.
From there, the season continues with a variety of events across the region, including:
- Mount Snow – Lisa Ballard Masters Camp
- Mittersill – Hochgebirge Challenge Cup
- Stratton – Janeway Cup
- Gore Mountain – Eastern Regional Championships
- Wachusett Mountain – Masters racing
- Mount Sunapee – Masters racing
The schedule features a mix of Slalom (SL), Giant Slalom (GS), and Super-G (SG) racing, giving competitors plenty of opportunities to test their skills across multiple disciplines.
More Races Coming Soon!
As always, putting together a full season of Masters racing requires coordination with our host mountains, race organizers, and partners.
The schedule released today is preliminary, and additional events are expected to be announced as arrangements are finalized.
We encourage racers to check the NEMS Racing website regularly for updates, additions, and any changes to the schedule.
More Than Just Racing
While competition is at the heart of NEMS Racing, our events are about much more than times and podium finishes.
They're about reconnecting with friends, meeting fellow racers, challenging yourself, and sharing a passion for ski racing.
Whether you're a longtime NEMS competitor or considering your first Masters race, we invite you to join us this winter.
