The primary goal at every NEMS event is the safety of our racers and support staff.
NEMS operates in up to five states across numerous venues. Each of the states and venues we operate at have specific rules and guidelines as it pertains to COVID-19 that directly impact not just the way in which we run a race, but the racers who participate as well.
As such, NEMS will require all racers and staff participating in an event to abide by the rules set forth by the host venue, and ultimately the state in which the venue resides. While COVID-19 specific rules may be included in a race’s Info Sheet, it is ultimately the sole responsibility of the racer to ensure that they are in compliance with the rules and guidelines set forth by the state and/or venue in which they are participating.
If a racer arrives at an event and has not met the COVID-19 requirements of the state and/venue, they will not be allowed to participate in the race and will be charged a DNS Fee.
