After a 17-year absence, NEMS is very excited, to make our return to Mt. Snow. Located in southern Vermont, Mt. Snow is an easy drive for most major cities in New England. With 135 trails spread over 600 acres (601 to be exact) and a 1,700 vertical drop, it is easy to see why Mt. Snow is one of the most popular venues in the region. 

RACE REGISTRATION:

  • All race registration is facilitated through the NEMS Racing online registration system, AdminSkiRacing (ASR). 
  • To register, you must have an account/profile on masters.amindskiracing.com
  • If you need to create an account, click here for instructions. It will only take a couple of minutes to set up. 
  • Once you have an account with ASR, you can register for any NEMS race with a click of a button.
  • Race Payment - A valid credit card on file is required. NEMS does not process charges until after the event. 
  • Race Withdrawal - Racers can withdraw from an event, without penalty, until the date and time listed on the event page. 
  • Did Not Start Fee - If a racer is registered for an event, and does not attend, they will be charged a Did Not Start Fee of $20.00 in place of the Race Fee. A racer is not charged both fees. For more info on the DNS Fee, please visit the NEMS Policy page: https://nemsracing.org/policies

Parking 

Please take a moment to review the Mt. Snow Base Area Map. Registration will be held in the Main Base Lodge. There are plenty of FREE parking options available. There is also premium parking available in Lot A (directly next to Base Lodge). If you are planning on parking in the premium parking section, be sure to download the passport parking app

Where to Stay:

When it comes to lodging, Mt. Snow has you covered. There are a number of options to suit what you are looking for. Here are just a few recommendations on where to stay while at Mt. Snow. 

Mount Snow Lodging Options

Located just down the street from the base of the mountain, The Lodge at Mt. Snow offers a report like feel without the resort like price. The Lodge features 47 recently renovated rooms and amenities such an outdoor pool, an indoor hot tub, and complimentary breakfast. They also offer AAA and AARP discounts.

Kitzhof Inn (https://kitzhof.com/)

Located a quarter mile from Mt. Snow, The Kitzhof Inn is a good option to consider while visiting for the races and/or camp. The Kitzhof Inn has multiple room options, which make it a good spot to consider if traveling with a few people. The inn also provides guests with a complimentary breakfast during their stay. 

Airbnb / VBRO Options 

There are no shortage of short term rental options around Mt. Snow. From condos to entire houses, if you are looking for something that isn’t a hotel or an inn, you will almost certainly find it on Airbnb or VRBO. 

Brattleboro

If you are traveling from the South or the East, Brattleboro also offers some additional hotel options. Brattleboro is about 40 minutes from Mt. Snow, but is located directly off of Rt. 91 and has some great restaurants and breweries options to explore.

If you are worried about dining options while at Mt. Snow, don’t be! There are a number of on and off mountain dining options to satisfy just about any culinary craving you might have.

Breakfast:

Dunkin & Starbucks - If getting in the start gate without your Dunks or Starbucks is a nonstarter for you, be sure to get your fix on the way to the mountain, or bring it with you. The closest Dunks and/or a Starbucks is 30 min away!

If you are looking for something sweet to start your day, consider stopping by the Sticky Fingers Bakery, located 1.5 miles to the south on Rt. 100. Sticky Fingers Bakery is known for their cinnamon rolls so you might want to add this to your list. All of their pastries are made from scratch daily so you know they will taste amazing!

If you are looking for a quick breakfast, stop by the Coffee Barn Cafe. They serve everything from bagels and muffins to omelets and french toast. Oh, and if the name didn’t clue you in already, they definitely have your caffeine requirements taken care of as well.

Apres or Dinner: 

Whether it’s a quick bite after a day on the slopes, or a solid dinner to end your day, there are plenty of great options around Mt. Snow to choose from.

If refined, white tablecloth dining is your preference, you will want to make a reservation at Two Tannery Road. The menu is simply divine from start to finish. The building itself is also steep in history, being physically relocated from Marlborough, MA in the 1700s, the building was once owned by President Theodore Roosevelt’s family.
